For Ovens, Kilns, and
Industrial Applications
Metal Protection Tube Types
Metal Protection Tube Type thermocouples are useful in rugged, high temperature
applications ranging from 1200°F to 2100°F. See the Applications Chart for further
information on material characteristics. Various mounting styles are available; plain,
adjustable flange, or welded bushing. Cold Leg on 90° elbow types is seamless steel.
Standard parts, listed below, are configured for plain mounting or for use with
optional flange. Standard lengths are 12 inches for the A dimension, 12 inches for the AA
dimension (for 90° probes), and a standard cast aluminum head. The E dimension is the
distance from tip to optional welded bushing.
Fill in the appropriate numbers or letters to specify the probe of your choice.

Ceramic Protection Tube Types
Ceramic Protection Tube Type thermocouples are useful in very high temperature
